Centros de Integración Juvenil, A.C. (CIJ) is an institution of social assistance that is specialized in the integral care of the drug dependence and is also an organism in which the State holds the majority of the shares since September 1982. This means that CIJ is incorporated to the health sector, is headed by the Secretariat of Health, and is ruled by the regulation of para-state entities of the Federal Government.

On October 2, 1973 CIJ was constituted as a civil association under the supervision of a General Assembly of Associates and a National Board of Patrons that are composed of prominent people of the community that are very interested in the institutional work.

The General Assembly of Associates is the main body of the association and it consisted of active and honorary members.

The management, administration and legal representation of the association is under the National Board of Patrons, executive body of the General Assembly of Associates.
